Who owns the code and the app?

You do. Ownership of the code and the app is written into your agreement before any work starts.

Do I need to claim the idea first?

No. Hiring a builder claims it for you automatically, and your claim stays active while the project is in progress.

What is the difference between the two options?

Option 1 is our own team building it for you at a package price. Option 2 posts the job on Megalancer so independent builders can quote on it.

How do payments work?

You pay per milestone, and payment terms are agreed before work starts. On Megalancer, payments go through Megalancer.

Can I build part of it myself?

Yes. Follow the playbook as far as you like, then hand off the rest from any step.
