A simple live queue so students stop crowding the door during office hours.
Nobody has claimed this yet. Be first.
Professors and teaching assistants open a queue link for their office hours. Students join with their name and a short question, see their place in line, and get a text when they are next. It saves time for everyone and helps TAs group similar questions.
Paste these into Claude, Cursor or Lovable, in order. Check that each one works before moving on.
Build a web app called Office Hours Queue. Instructors sign up and create a queue with a course name and a short join code. Students open the join page, enter their name, phone number and a one-line question, and see their live position in line.
Build the instructor view: a live list of waiting students with question text, a button to mark someone as being helped or done, and a tag field so similar questions can be grouped. When a student reaches position one, send them a Twilio text saying they are next.
Add a history page showing how many students were helped per session, average wait time and the most common tags. Add Stripe billing for a department plan that allows several staff members to share one queue.
