Restaurants text walk-in guests when their table is ready. No buzzers needed.
Nobody has claimed this yet. Be first.
A host types a guest name, party size and phone number on a tablet, and the guest gets a text when the table is ready. Small restaurants and cafes avoid buying pager hardware and guests can wander nearby instead of crowding the door.
Paste these into Claude, Cursor or Lovable, in order. Check that each one works before moving on.
Build a tablet friendly web app called Waitlist Text. Start with a host login and a Waitlist screen with a big Add Guest button and a list of waiting parties showing name, party size, phone and minutes waited.
Use Twilio to send a text when a guest is added (you are number 4 on the list) and a second text when the host taps Table Ready. Store each entry with fields: name, party size, phone, added time, notified time, seated time and status (waiting, notified, seated, left).
Add a daily stats page showing average wait, parties served and no shows by hour. Add Stripe billing for a monthly plan and a setting for the restaurant name and custom text wording.
