Most garages have partly used cans of paint that end up thrown away. This site lets people post leftover paint with color, finish and amount, and lets others nearby search for what they need for small projects.
Paste these into Claude, Cursor or Lovable, in order. Check that each one works before moving on.
Build a web app called Leftover Paint Match. Start with sign up by email and a Post Paint form with fields: color name, photo of the can lid, finish, type (latex or oil), amount left, zip code and pickup notes.
Add a search page filtered by zip code distance, finish and color family, with listings shown as cards. Add a Request button that emails the poster with the requester message and lets the poster mark the can as claimed.
Add a small counter of cans rehomed, a page with local drop off options added by admins, and a sponsor spot for a local hardware store.
