Seed libraries in libraries and garden clubs track which seed packets they have, who borrowed them and who brought back saved seeds. Gardeners browse online before visiting. It keeps local, open-pollinated varieties circulating year after year.
Paste these into Claude, Cursor or Lovable, in order. Check that each one works before moving on.
Build a web app called Seed Swap Shelf. Let a librarian create a seed library, add seed varieties with name, crop type, days to maturity, packet count and a photo, and publish a public browsable catalog with filters by crop type.
Add borrowing: a gardener enters name and email to check out up to five packets, which lowers stock. Later they can log a return of saved seeds with variety, quantity and harvest year, which raises stock and records the grower. Show low stock warnings to the librarian.
Add a season report showing packets lent, seeds returned and most popular varieties. Send email reminders in late summer asking borrowers to save and return seeds. Add Stripe for a yearly library subscription with a free tier of 30 varieties.
